$1/gallon Rebate on Qualifying Purchases of Chevron Coolants Now in Effect

Chevron has announced a rebate program for Delo® Premium Coolant will extend through Nov. 30, 2021, offering an opportunity to take advantage of $1/gallon cashback with every qualifying purchase of at least 110 gallons.

Qualifying purchases include those of Delo XLC and Delo ELC “ADVANCED” Coolant on a single invoice during the promotional period of Oct. 1 – Nov. 30. No enrollment is required, and a qualified volume purchased of any combination of package styles or any combination of the two products is eligible for the rebate.

“This is a great opportunity for our fleet owners and managers in a wide range of industry sectors to take advantage of a great rebate program on a quality product,” said SCL Vice President of Customer Solutions Dan Dziwanowski. “Right now it’s critical that our customers take advantage of savings wherever they can, and this is one example of how they can do that while also providing a premium product that will help their machines operate at peak performance.”

Chevron Delo XLC is an extended-life Nitrite Free antifreeze that provides protection in all elements, winter to summer. The silicate-free formula, which reduces wear on water pumps, is applicable for both heavy and light-duty trucks and equipment as well as RVs and boats.

Recommended applications include the following vehicles where OEM recommends a nitrite-free, silicate-free coolant:

• Heavy duty engines regardless of fuel type or environmental controls

• Mixed fleets of automobiles, light-duty trucks and heavy-duty trucks 

• Recreational vehicles

Chevron Delo ELC “ADVANCED” is also suitable for a wide range of on- and off-road applications. Although it is also free of silicates that can cause wear in cooling systems, Delo ELC “ADVANCED” does contain nitrites for applications where that component is recommended by OEM.

Recommended applications for Delo ELC “ADVANCED” include the following vehicles where OEM recommends a silicate-free, extended life coolant that contains nitrites:

• Heavy-duty engines regardless of fuel type or environmental controls

• Mixed fleets of both light-duty and heavy-duty trucks 

• Stationary engine applications regardless of fuel type 

• Marine cooling systems where freeze protection is needed and a nitrite-containing coolant is recommended

Both varieties tout a long service life – up to 8 years or 15,000 hours off-highway use – which can amount to significant cost savings, and improved heat transfer when compared to silica-containing formulations.
